We provide technical assistance and help communities build coalitions to address the overdose epidemic in Westmoreland County.

In 2016 there were 174 confirmed deaths from accidental drug and alcohol overdoses in Westmoreland County. 94 of the confirmed cases involved heroin. Visit the Westmoreland County Coroner's website for up-to-date data.

The DOTF is led by Director Tim Phillips and advised by Westmoreland County Commissioners Gina Cerilli, Ted Kopas, and Chuck Anderson. Westmoreland County PA's anti-addiction coalition, the Drug Overdose Task Force, provides technical assistance and education to help communities take action to address the overdose epidemic in Westmoreland County.

You can help support recovery in our community.

Donations to our Drug Treatment Court scholarship fund are most welcome. These donations are used toward eligible Drug Court participants attending higher education or vocational school to improve their future. Participants will be able to apply for scholarships in 2017.

You may wish to memorialize a loved one or request that he or she be remembered in lieu of funeral flowers, honor a family celebration, or designate the Fund as a beneficiary in your will.
No gift is too large or too small.
